Nobody Looks That Young Here collects 16 interconnected short stories about the inhabitants of Currie Township, Southwestern Ontario—adolescent Michael Carrion and his family chief among them—and their struggle with whether to accept or reject their seemingly predetermined lives. It’s a book that counts Lives of Girls and Women, Sunshine Sketches of a Little Town, Winesburg, Ohio and the novels of S.E. Hinton as ancestors, and it includes stories published in Exile: The Literary Quarterly (2012 Carter V.
